VETTA, a capsule wardrobe retailer, creates minimalist clothing for everyday wear. Established in 2016, the brand focuses on classic pieces with modern twists for each of their collections. All of their products arrive at customers’ doors through a thoughtful process. VETTA co-founder, a Parsons School of Design graduate, describes the brand perfectly here:

Capsule Wardrobe Essentials
At its core, VETTA believes in minimalism and focuses most of its energy on promoting capsule wardrobes. As a result, a capsule wardrobe refers to a closest comprising fewer, higher quality items that can mix and match. This minimalist way of dressing cuts down on excessive shopping and daily outfit anxiety. Each VETTA collection includes five versatile pieces, sold together or separately. The brand provides four collections: The Romantic Capsule, The Relaxed Capsule, The Classic Capsule, and The Casual Capsule.
VETTA also cares deeply about creating fashion responsibly. From fiber to finish, the brand stays involved in the manufacturing of their garments. For instance, VETTA works with four different factories; two in Los Angeles, one in New York, and one in New Delhi, India. The company breaks down the ins and outs of each factory from break times to compliance standards. In Los Angeles, VETTA even has their sweaters made by a factory which uses 70% solar power for its energy. The brand’s choice to work with a brand overseas did not come lightly and its standards remain high. VETTA works with a family-owned factory in New Delhi with SA8000 certification. Team members frequently visit factories to ensure those standards are being met both for the garment workers and the environment.
Like many sustainable fashion companies, VETTA does not believe in sacrificing style for sustainability. The brand uses fabrics that have a low environmental impact, yet also result in high-quality garments. In order for sustainable clothing to exist, pieces must have the potential for longevity. VETTA creates garments with Tencel™, linen, organic cotton, Lenzing Modal® Ponte, and deadstock fabric.

VETTA uses Tencel that comes from sustainably sourced wood pulp that’s produced through a closed-looped system that recycles solvents. GOTS certificated organic cotton makes up most of the brand’s t-shirts, and unused fabric consistently receives a new life.
While VETTA remains committed to minimalism, sustainability, and ethical manufacturing, the brand also values attention to design detail. Small elements such as buttons and elastic come from suppliers within the United States, reducing the amount of travel necessary. In addition, VETTA considers all aspects of packing and shipping their products. 100% recycled materials make up the poly bags, inserts and packing slips used, while certified materials make up the boxes. From start to finish, VETTA focuses on the details to create conscious clothing.
