Fall is around the corner, so we made a little research about what are the most raved about sustainable sweaters that everybody wants to
get their hands on. Here is the list so you could get ready for the upcoming sweater weathers:
Also available in black and cream, Hoodlamb Pointelle sweaters feature a mock-neck and drop shoulder with a slouchy silhouette. Made with 38% recycled fine hemp, 32% recycled organic cotton and 30% organic cotton. Hemp does not require any pesticides or toxic chemicals when cultivated, produces 2-3 times more fiber per acre than cotton, and the plant even fixes nutrients back into the soil. Hemp fabric is breathable, warm, moisture-wicking and anti-bacterial.
This sweater is perfect if you’re looking for something that is ethically made, always keeps you warm and never too hot.
Price – $78.00
It doesn’t get more classic than a crew-neck sweater. The Cashmere Crew is warm and soft, but still ultimately lightweight – making it perfect on its own, layered, or tucked into a skirt. It’s a foundational closet piece, and it never disappoints. It’s unobtrusive, chameleon-level versatile, and both looks and feels good effortlessly. Did we mention it’s Grade-A cashmere from Inner Mongolia? It’s the best there is – but sells it at the same price you might find Grade-C in another store. Unlike lower-quality options, Grade-A is stronger and doesn’t pill as easily.
It’s a perfect staple in your wardrobe that will last for years, if not decades. It will never go out of style, making it a great timeless sweater to invest in.
The Crew comes in six sizes (XXS – XL) and 17 colors, but we would suggest starting with a staple color that works with the bulk of your closet, like black, charcoal, or dark navy. (Click on the pictures to see other colors).
It’s not cheap, but it is relatively affordable.

Perfect for cozying around at home, running errands, or having a comfortable and stylish flight, this ultra-soft, rib split neck top and jogger are what dreams are made of. It’s made of 50% Modal, 25% Cotton, 15% Nylon and 10% Cashmere. Modal is a fabric made from the cellulose found in beech tree fiber. The production process of Modal involves very few chemicals and recycles most of the water and solvents used. The fibers are twice as soft as cotton, hold vibrant colors, and maintain their exquisite hand even after repeated washing.
Silky smooth and so indulgently soft, the beechwood fabric is the absolute highest-quality blend of Modal that makes for tops, tees, and sweaters you’ll never want to take off.
Available in two other colors (click on the pictures to see) The Cabo Set retails for $166.00 (traditional retail $415.00).
The Sukey is a feminine twist on the traditional cable knit sweater. It features a relaxed fit with ribbed cuffs and hem, and a rolled edge at the neckline. The cable starburst detailing highlights your face in the most flattering way.
Made in England out of 100% Super Fine Lambswool.
Also available in creamy white.

This fun silhouette pairs perfectly with denim for a casual every day look. The long sleeve sweater with a v-neck and dramatic twist detail in back is ethically made of 100% Merino Wool. Also available in mustard color (click on the pictures to view). Merino Wool is made from the fleece of Merino sheep, which are originally from Spain but now mainly bred in New Zealand and Australia. Merino wool is very soft, lightweight and regulates body temperature well, explaining its popularity in sportswear and performance base layers. Amour Vert has milled 100% of this merino wool in Italy at a sustainable powered plant. Above all, they ensure the ethical treatment of animals in the process.
