As the ladieswear SS19 Fashion Weeks have officially ended, we decided to do our own conclusions of upcoming trends.
So let’s get started..
One of our favourite trend’s is definitely usage of the color marigold. This bright and yet elegant color will win our hearts in Spring 2019.
Left to right (clockwise from top left): Carolina Herrera, Pyer Moss, Oscar de la Renta, Brandon Maxwell
2. Cargo pants are back!
So these middle-aged men of the 90’s pants are back. Pants have got a whole new image, which is slightly ironic, but yet look kinda cool and even stylish.
3. Don’t Gringe, just Fringe
This trend what got started in England in 1688, came back with a modern, elevated appeal.
Left to right (clockwise from top left): Coach 1941, Cushnie, Claudia Li, R13, Tom Ford
Laundry babas, $2,250 at Balenciaga
4. Matching EVERYTHING
Is it matching your bag with shoes, jacket with shoes, headgear with clothes or jacket with pants- it WORKS. In Spring-Summer 19 matching is IN.
Left to right (clockwise from top left): Kate Spade New York, Naeem Khan, Calvin Klein 205@37NYC, Anna Sui, Michael Kors Collection, R13, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Anna Sui
Left to right (clockwise from top left): Kate Spade New York, Mansur Gavriel, Self-Portrait, Michael Kors Collection, Tory Burch
There is actually so much more loveable trends coming up starting from puff sleeves, bows ending up with suiting up etc.
PS! Did you know that… “The decade actress Sarah Bernhardt scandalized Paris by wearing a custom-made trouser suit, which she called her “boy’s clothes.” She continued to blur gender roles when she played Hamlet in 1899.”
Next post will be about suit-up WOMEN edition, so follow us for that and more.
