Some fun facts about FENDI:
- FENDI is responsible for creating the idea of the It bag. It bag is a colloquial term from the fashion industry used in the 1990s and 2000s to describe a brand or type of high-priced designer handbag by makers such as Chanel, Hermès or Fendi that becomes a popular best-seller.
- FENDI breathtakingly presented its spring/summer 08 collection during a show staged on top of The Great Wall of China, starring 88 models and an 88-meter long runway. BTW! Great Wall of China shenanigan was the only fashion show to ever be visible from the moon..
- FENDI gave an internship to none other than Kanye West, back in 2009, when he was still sussing out how to run a fashion label of his own. Rumors about him having to do lots of photocopying and fetching the coffees, like a typical intern, remain unconfirmed!
- FENDI marketed their way into mainstream through famous influencers like Kim Kardashian, Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid etc.
